I really try not to bring up the activities Jasper and I do during the day because I don't want Sammy to feel left out, especially when we go to the Aquarium because he loves it so much there. But Jasp is not the quiet kind and will tell his brother about his day so the cat is always let out of the bag anyways.
The three of us had a fun visit early December and two particularly funny things happened:
1) While we were having lunch, Jasp got his pizza crust poached right out of his hand by a peacock! Apparently Jasper was the perfect height for the peacock so when he was looking the other way, the peacock moved in and got some lunch for himself. While Mommy thought it was pretty humorous, Jasper was not fazed by it at all and just asked for more pizza.
2) There was a boy and girl having lunch with their mom in the tent at the same as we were and the boy had to chase away the peacock every time he got close because his little sister did not enjoy them at all. A bond was made when Jasper's pizza got stolen and the kids had some playtime together in the common area afterwards. Sammy and Japs started a game of tossing up and catching their vests and the new friends followed. For a second, the mother told her daughter to keep her jacket on but realized her request was futile so I just gave her a "I'm sorry" look. Boys will be boys.
