The Annual Ag Show

All the schools are closed on a Friday to give their students the opportunity to go to the annual Ag Show.  Animals and agriculture is the focus but the boys enjoy the Portugese donuts, the cotton candy and the bouncy castle the most.

The goose was very loud and did not impress the boys at all.

There was a Mama pig nursing about 9 piglets and it looked so cute but I missed my photo opportunity of them feeding so I took a pic of my own piglet Sammy.

Cruz was a very understanding baby brother and survived most of the brouhaha but did need a feeding break while his brothers took a bathroom break.

Jasp had decorated an egg for the show so we went on a search to find it.  There were so many on display I didn't think we would ever find it but Jasp remembered how he decorated it and found it himself.

Since there were long line ups for everything, I went and got a bag of cotton candy while the boys waited in line for the bouncy castle.  Po Po did not want it to melt so she put it under the pumpkin seat on the stroller.  Unfortunately it was not a very secure spot and it fell out and the wind took it away.  Po Po did not notice it rolling away but did see some girls nearby enjoying some cotton candy.  I guess it was good that someone got to enjoy it!

We lined up for another bag and got to enjoy some mango slush as well.  It might take a try or two, but Jasp is definitely better at trying new things than Sam.

And because our day was not busy enough, we went for some much needed haircuts after the show.  As usual, Ellen loved cutting the boys' hair because they are so calm and quiet.  Wish they were like that all the time, ha ha!
