Bon Voyage Daddy!

Daddy planned a special trip to celebrate Grandma's birthday and met her in Paris and London for some touristy fun.

But before Daddy left, Jasp made sure to squeeze in a couple of games of his new favourite game, chutes and ladders.  And by favourite, I mean only if he wins.

So while Daddy and Grandma were enjoying the sights...

We adjusted at home and did the best we can with our daily and nightly routines.  Sam took over bedtime reading, which went smoothly until someone decided not to cooperate.

No shirts?  No problem.  Anything (just about) goes when Daddy is away.

Jasp even decided to bunk in Sam's tent one night.  These two move around so much during the night I am surprised no one had a black eye in the morning!

Jasp was up to his usual antics after school, before Sam came home.  He has decided that he knows how to write messages on his tablet (this one below says Mommy is a poo poo).

Sammy lost a tooth and decided to throw away table manners during Daddy's absence.

Unfortunately, we all came down with colds, every single one of us.  I would not have survived without Po Po, that is for sure!

Even poor little Cruzie was stuffed up.  Mommy tried this new-to-us invention called the Nose Frieda to clear his nose and it worked like a dream!!  Despite not feeling 100% or maybe because he was not,  Cruz gradually adopted a longer sleep pattern while Daddy was away.  He would fall asleep in his swing about 8:30 pm and sleep till almost 3:00 am before wanting a feed.  And then after the feed,  we would go upstairs to bed and sleep until older brothers got up for school.  Not too shabby little baby!  And thank you Fisher Price for the swing!
