Po Po left last week but it was not a sad goodbye because we are going to see her in Alberta soon enough. We booked her arrival and departure date on Saturday on purpose so that Sammy was able to go to the airport too. Sammy was very sweet to help his little brother with his shoes so in turn Jasp wanted to help Po Po with her sandals...then Sammy wanted to help Jasper buckle his seatbelt. The "good brother" performance was extended at the airport, so much so that even a random youngish guy walking by even commented how cute the boys were. I have proof that all good things end in a bit of tomfoolery if you give it some time! We had some lunch at the airport but it was cut a bit short as Air Canada left about 20 minutes earlier than scheduled. Po Po had a bleeding nose just before her departure but made it home safe and sound with no complications.
When Po Po called the next morning and started singing "London Bridges" on the phone to Jasp, he quickly went over to the futon and did his "bridge" like Po Po taught him during her visit. See you soon Po Po!
