I'm going to miss Jasp

Jasp is always coming up with crazy ideas and says funny things.  I sometimes text some of what he does to June-yee and she wrote back one day, "when he starts full day next year, the teachers will get to hear all of his funny sayings" and it dawned on me that I am going to miss out and my daily life will have a little less Jasperisms to amuse me.  Sigh.  I know letting the kids go and grow is for the best but it is darn hard sometimes!

Like Sam, Jasp never cared for getting his hands dirty but is now willing to hold a drumstick (not yet for Sam!) and lick it like a popsicle.  And as a kid who normally does not care for condiments, he now requests "may" (mayo) like Sammy on his sandwiches.

Loves new clothes so much!  I found him in bed sleeping and hugging his new clothes. (and still loves his button up shirts)

He was having a particularly silly day this day: checking to see if his head fit in the Lego fort, having a Lego man toe ring, taping up the treasure in his little chest (obsessed with tape!) and at one point he was so quiet I had to look around to find him and found him showing Cruzie the iPad.

He usually asks me to draw hands for his people but this time he did it himself.  He is still not as able to turn on a natural smile for the camera on command like Sammy.

But is great at taking selfies!

Sure knows how to chow down on a fish sandwich, especially one from Artmel's.

Such a hot kid but loves being cozy in his blankets.

Phasing out the naps but the tiredness catches up so a nap is needed every few days.  When he gets overtired he still gets nightmares at night.
