Not as outspoken and not as silly as his little brother but definitely just as missed when he is at school too. Sometimes when he gets in the car after school he'll ask, "Did you miss me?" Or maybe that is Jasper asking me...no matter, I miss them both!
Alas, I don't take as many pictures of Sam as his little brothers because he is mostly at school but also because of school, I do take some "homework" pictures every week. Sam receives a new spelling list of 10 to 12 words every Monday and gets tested on Friday. It is required to practice and learn the new words with fun activities throughout the week (we have used the iPad, shaving cream, wiki stix, paint, and stamps to name a few) and take a picture for his spelling folder to show his teachers. He has done excellent every week with no more than a couple of misspelled words.
And here we are helping Sam with his daily reading too.
I have to say that Sam is the most cooperative when I ask to take his picture. He has such a nice natural smile and always (well, 99% of the time) looks at the camera...ever since he was little! Here is Sam helping me record the arrival of our "new to us" table and tv.
Crazy (to say the least) about Skylanders, here he is having some lunch with Spyro. And his other obsession, Lego, which he actually stops to take a break from Skylanders to play with.
Don't let this pic of Sam trying out the parsley Jasper and his classmates grew fool you, Sam is still a pretty picky eater!
But always loves Daddy's baking, especially sugar muffins!
Sam is still camping out in the tent in Jasper's room and even though his brother could sleep naked and still be too warm, Sam always loves to be cuddled up in his "cold" blanket. (His reasoning for helping him keep cool...I have no idea)
Daddy and I learned a new thing at Sam's parent/teacher conference which he never mentioned to us: he knows cursive writing! He needs some more practice so Daddy has him write out his requests should he want them fulfilled. Daddy can be so smart sometimes! ;) And Jasper wanted to take credit for this request by posing in the picture.
Jasper has always tagged along to Sam's friends' birthday parties as he never really had his own friends until school started but this time Sam joined Jasp at his classmate's Superhero party! The boys were super excited to dress up until they got to the party and took off the costumes after they got out of the car. Partly because they were unsure if others were going to be dressed up and partly because it was so darn hot outside!
