Jasper had a cold last week so I thought his rosy cheeks and restless nights (more than his usual one-time wake-up anyways), were side effects from this cold. Then one morning, as I was changing his diaper, I noticed a couple more white spots on his gums...more teeth! Definitely one more on both the top and the bottom and the other 2 look like they are about to pop through. I am sure once these guys are through, Jasper will be a happy baby boy. Not only will the pain go away but more variety of food to chew on! I've added some new things to his menu like oatmeal bread, freeze dried fruit, snack puffs, rusks and some really soft carrots and potatoes. He has been adding new things to his menu by himself via the leftovers his big brother leaves on the picnic table...pancakes, cookies, crackers and shown in this picture, a yummy cinnabon bun! This little guy never gets his fill. I finish feeding him in the highchair, take him out so I can eat my meal and he crawls right up to me for more!

Below, you will see pics of the new teeth as well as Sam's teeth because he does not want to be left out. Further proof that little ears hear everything (when they want to), Sam obviously overheard me telling someone about how Jasper crawls excitedly over to Will when he comes home from work because the very next day, he crawled to the door to greet his Daddy home. Guess he misses being a baby a bit, even though he seems to be more and more like a big boy to Mommy everyday. Some more things Sam is doing: peeing standing up (yay! Especially in public toilets!); pooping and wiping own bum (work in progress) but goes without any prompting; putting on his own socks and shoes; putting on own jacket; pouring his own drinks; getting his own snacks from the fridge and cupboards; getting into carseat and buckling himself up; riding faster on bike; brushing own teeth; washing own hands (with soap!); cleaning up spilled messes (after exclaiming "Omigosh!" like Mommy - what a copycat!); putting on own pull-ups for naps and undies after naps; going up and down stairs unassisted (even though it scares Mommy!)
