We went to one of Sam's classmates' birthday party last week. Saraya turned 5 with a super sweet candy themed celebration. Sam is actually like Daddy in this category and does not really like candy, but Mommy got her share from the candy buffet that was offered at the party. (Not sure how the rest of the parents made out with their kids who helped themselves to the table!) Rather than eating candy, Sam kept busy jumping around in the bouncy castle they had set up. He LOVES bouncy castles!!! Saraya's mom has a business making cakes and cupcakes and they surely did not disappoint. We even got to bring home a couple of cupcakes. Daddy and Sam each got one for dessert after dinner. However, Sam left his unfinished on his table and Mommy helped herself to the leftovers. I had asked Sam before I ate it but apparently he did not really listen because not long after I finished it, he was looking to eat the rest. Oops! Peace was restored after we offered an oreo as a replacement.
Now when Sam has something unfinished on his plate, he tells me, "Mommy, don't eat it" or when he is done, he will say, "You eat it. Sam won't cry."
