Zoo Zoo for Mommy and Sam

One recent Sunday morning, Mommy baked some biscuits and we brought them over to Auntie Tina's house to share with her family.  Auntie Tina was telling us about a fabulous show called Zoo Zoo that she brought Taty and Erik to the day before.  It sounded so fabulous, Mommy bought some tickets online for the afternoon show for Mommy and Sammy.  Auntie Tina graciously offered to watch Jasper during his naptime so that we could go and enjoy the show without a cranky baby.

It is difficult to describe the show, but it basically consists of 5 guys that perform without words in extraordinary animal costumes.  They act out various scenarios that have the kids (and adults!) cracking up with laughter.  I was unsure if Sam was enjoying himself at first because he was totally silent and did not utter one giggle but I should have known my Sammy was just observing and absorbing it all in as when I mentioned something about the first act during intermission, he noted that I missed out a specific detail.  Since he knew what to expect after intermission, he was more relaxed and had some good laughs.

As we are not allowed to take pictures in the theatre, I found some pics online of the animals and included the picture of Mommy and Sammy in the theatre, Sammy during intermission and our special donut treat after the show.

Thanks again to Auntie Tina for telling us about the show and letting Sammy and Mommy have an opportunity to spend some one-on-one time together.  With Daddy working so much during busy season, these chances don't come up often and are greatly appreciated.
