One day, I was absent-mindedly playing with Jasper's hair (the soft curls were calling out to me) when I had the funny idea of putting in a ponytail. Jasp did not like it at first and took out the elastic immediately. Sam thought it was hilarious and asked me to tie his hair up (a bit more challenging with shorter straight hair!), which of course led Jasper back to wanting his hair tied up again and lots of giggles ensued. Love it when the littlest things can brighten up an afternoon. Now whenever Jasper sees a loose hair elastic around, he asks me to tie up his hair. We even tied it up once while we were on the webcam with Po Po and Gung Gung. They both agree that Jasp looks more like Mommy did when she was a baby. Most likely because Mommy looked like a little boy when she was his age!
Mommy asked Po Po and Gung Gung to find a similar picture of Mommy at around the same age and they successfully found one! Gung Gung showed it on the webcam and asked Sammy who was in the picture and he said, "Jasper!" so I guess the similarities are even obvious through the eyes of a 4 year old.
