Perfect Fishing Day

Daddy inherited his love of fishing from Grandpa Ken and is always looking for good fishing weather to take the boys.  Well, that opportunity came up one weekend in October and we had a beautiful family afternoon at the pier and even caught some fish. They were not big enough to eat but it was still fun to catch and toss the fish back out into the water.

The water was such a gorgeous color that day, I couldn't help but take a million pictures.  The boys were good sports and hammed it up for Mommy's camera.  Sam was really into the whole process of fishing: tearing up the bread, tossing out the line, reeling it in, etc.  Jasper was interested at first but preferred collecting rocks and sticks to throw into the ocean.  As you can see, Jasper (thankfully!) is cautious by the water and was holding on tight to Daddy's leg while looking into the water for fish.
