Welcome back BBQ

Every year, Somersfield hosts a fabulous back-to-school BBQ for the whole school.  Each family brings a salad and the school provides hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone.  This year, the BBQ was originally scheduled on Sammy's birthday but was changed because of another event happening in Bermuda so we were able to attend afterall.  Mommy looks a bit ragged in this picture but since we have so few family photos, I thought I would take one for the team.

It's unfortunate that I am the only one in this family that enjoys salads because the variety that was provided was phenomenal!  I had a whole plateful and I think I ate enough for the four of us.  The boys spent some energy at the playground with the other kids and when the sun set, they played "The Lorax" on a giant screen in the common area outside.  It got a bit late for Jasper so we did not stay for the whole movie.  There is one part in the movie where a storm comes in with lightening and Sam declared it "scary" so now the boys refuse to watch the movie at home because of the "scary" part.  I am not even sure if I am being accurate in the description of the scene because I have not had the opportunity to watch the movie myself...now if you want to know about Rio, I can explain it from beginning to end.
