Jasp was not familiar with the cheesy "chin-in-hand" pose at first but was not surprisingly better at sticking his tongue out than his big bro.
Sammy had a PD day at school so I used this opportunity to take the boys to Spittal Pond for our photoshoot. I was not sure if it was too windy or not but it worked to our benefit when the boys had their capes on.
A friend asked me once how I think of what to put on my cards and I said that I only think of it when I look at what pictures I end up with. So when Jasper had his little tantrum, inspiration hit for the naughty vs nice theme. Jasp was actually really good at first, but when the boys felt unsafe (it was totally safe) standing on the log, tears ensued. Even Sammy's eyes teared up a bit but he pulled it back together way faster than Jasp. When the 9 lonely cards arrived, Jasper pointed out his own picture and said, "Naughty". Poor boy is going to be scarred.
We then went to Jasper's art class where the boys had some fun with the noodles and paints featured in that day's activity. Jasper, who barely likes to get paint on his hands absolutely LOVED walking in the paint to make footprint collages. Sammy just stared in wonderment at his weirdo brother.
To cap off our busy morning, we went to The Spot for chocolate milkshakes and lunch which is also Mommy's favorite place for a gravy topped turkey sandwich.
