Jasp had the flu at the beginning of November. I immediately know when he is sick because his energy levels drop down to nil. Surprisingly, he still wants to eat. He will throw up, pass out for a long nap and wake up starving. One time, he woke up screaming for "Pizza! Croissant! Donut!" If we don't have something in the house I usually tell the kids they have to wait till Mommy goes to the store again but I felt so bad for the little guy, I immediately went out and got all his requests. It also helped that Po Po was still visiting and could stay home with the monkey.

After a few days, it was back to business as usual and that meant a visit to the Aquarium. Besides seeing the fish and animals, Jasp loves tossing rocks over the fence and our new favorite activity, "donating" coins to the Aquarium in their spiral "coin collector". Whenever he finds change at home, he wants to go the Aquarium to drop it in the spiral thing. (I have no idea what it is called!)
I also had to include a picture of Jasp running with his arms behind him. I am not sure if it is a little kid thing, but Sammy did the same thing at this age and Grandma Paulette said that Daddy used to do the same thing too. Perhaps it's a McCallum trait, ha ha.
On this particular visit, Jasp was very friendly with the fish and animals. He voluntarily went to the seal tank to say goodbye, he sent the starfish a kiss through the glass and though he is grabbing tightly onto Mommy, he cannot leave the Aquarium without a farewell to the sea turtles. (and the bus outside was a bonus too!)
