The boys seem to have a love-hate relationship these days. When it's good, it's cute to hear the conversations they have. When it's bad, I have to bring out Mean Mommy and threaten to take everything away from them.
One time, I just woke up and was laying in bed for a millisecond to ponder the activities that I had awaiting for me that day when I heard this coming from down the hall:
Jasper: Hi Sammy
Sam: Did I scare you?
Jasper: No, I wake up
Sam: Do you want to go downstairs and play with me?
Jasper: Okay Sammy
I love Jasper's little 2 year old morning voice saying his brother's name.
When it is bad, there is a lot of:
Jasper: Sammeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Sam: You are not my best friend anymore
Apparently it's all about "best friends" at school these days. And I do not love Jasper's loud 2 year old voice saying his brother's name.
One more recent conversation from the boys:
Sam: Let's watch Wall-E
Jasper: Wawee?
Sam: No Japs, it's Wa-LEE. Look at my tongue. LLLLEEE
Jasper: LLLEEE?
Sam: Good job Japs!
Nice to see all Mommy and Daddy's "hard training" with Sam for the L-sound has been paid foward.
