Spring Fling not a flop

The town of St.George's hosted a fair called "The Spring Fling" that had a lot of activities organized for the kids including a bouncy castle, a mini ferris wheel and a big slide.  Sam was a little confused and thought George was a kid and we were going to his house for a party so when we got there he was a bit overwhelmed with all the commotion and preferred to watch all the action from the sidelines.  There was also a man dressed up as the town crier to make announcements - Sam called him "Santa Claus" and was not impressesd that Santa was yelling so loud.  His favorite part was actually the "balloon man" (what Sam calls it), but when the machine broke and the "balloon man" fell over, Sam was ready to go home.

Mommy wanted to take some pictures by the water before we left and Po Po thought it was quite humorous that Mommy had to repeatedly ask (almost beg) Sam to stand on the rocks by the water for the picture.  She thinks that in a couple of years (or less!), Mommy will be doing the opposite and will be repeatedly asking Jasper to get off the rocks since he is on the path of being the "daring" child.  I think she might be right...

Luckily we stopped to take the pictures because that is when the train stopped by for the next lot of passengers!  Yay for the train!  The Spring Fling was not a flop afterall!  Sam was more than happy to hop on the train and even waved to all the people we passed by during the free half hour ride around St.George's.  And according to Sam, we even spotted a fox!!  (to his credit, the dog did have a pointed snout like a fox)
