Well, with the help of almost every birthday party we have attended, Sam has had a lot of practice in all sorts of bouncy castles and can jump like a pro now. As per Sam, even our beds have turned into bouncy castles.
Here are a few photos with Sam and his classmates. I am really glad to have caught one with him and Matthew (in the orange shirt). Though Matthew is the 4th child of his family, he has a quiet and shy personality very similar to Sam's. For awhile, Sam used to always report on Matthew everyday after school. When I asked him what he did or if he had a nice day at school, his answers would vary from "Matthew was sad at school today", "Matthew was sick", "Matthew bumped his head", it was quite humorous to hear Matthew's school updates.
At one party, there was another boy that insisted I took pictures of him in cat-like poses because he declared himself "King of the Leopards". He repeated it so often that Sam then declared himself "King of Pandas". I have no idea where pandas came from but I must give Sam credit for having a great imagination.
Like every kid at the party, Sam had a blast with the little motorized car. He had so much fun, I had a hard time convincing him to go sing happy birthday and have cake with everyone else. Unfortunately, just as we finished singing happy birthday, Sam yelled, "there's a bee on my arm" and it stung him. Everyone asked me if he was allergic and I had no idea as this was his first. Luckily he isn't and with the help of a homeopathic remedy called Apis that another parent offered, the sting soon became a distant memory.
