In Bermuda, Good Friday is also known as "Kite Day": everyone goes to the beach or to the Botanical Gardens for a day of kite flying and hot cross bun and fish cake eating. Sam does not need Good Friday as a reason to fly a kite, he loves to take the kite out on any day when the wind seems to be blowing the leaves around a bit harder. Plus he does not care much for hot cross buns nor fish cakes.
Either the wind was too strong or Mommy lacks kite flying skills (I think it is the latter), but we were not very successful in keeping the kite in the air for any decent amount of time. Jasper somehow lost a sock and Mommy ruined her jacket by the unspooling kite string yet we did have some fun out in the fresh air.
