Props to Auntie Iris

Auntie Iris has been coming up with great outdoor activities for our Friday playdates.  The weather has been very cooperative and the boys are loving these new ways to play outside.

One Friday, we went to the skating rink which is just a few years old here in Bermuda.  Ethan, Rylan and Taryn got to practice their skating skills and Sam and Jasp got to explore some hockey skills (coached by Auntie Iris of course!)  At first, when I told Sam we were going to play hockey, he asked "Why?" which I thought was a bit humorous because we definitely are not the athletic family.  The boys first watched by the sidelines and played at a nearby park but eventually got to running around the rink with the other kids and ended up having a fabulous time.

Another fantastic spot is the track near town where the kids can run or ride their bikes.  There are not many places in Bermuda where the kids can ride safely so this location is perfect for the boys to strengthen their leg muscles!

Jasper is becoming more of a ham for the camera as of late...what a goof!
