We love Julia Donaldson's books here at the McCallum household so Mommy was pretty excited when they announced the show for the Snail and the Whale at the Bermuda Festival. I was unsure if Jasper would be able to understand and sit through the whole show so I only bought tickets for myself and Sammy, knowing Gung Gung would be here to watch Jasp.
It was a great adaptation of the book but I am sure that it was still a little too complicated for Sam to comprehend the concept of the show. Of course they added in silly bits and all the kids, including Sam, laughed their heads off so it definitely was still worth bringing Sam for the experience. (but very glad I chose not to bring Japs...who happily stayed home with Gung Gung with no complaints!)
