Hello Cooper

We went to the Dolphin outing organized by MAMA again this year (our 3rd time!) and Jasp did not have to watch from afar in his stroller this year.  It has become a really nice tradition for the kiddies as we meet up with the Cundliffes, the Wilsons and the McAlpines, partake in a group together or take pictures for each other and then go for some playtime and lunch afterwards.  (The mommy that organizes the event was so nice to accomodate our requested time slots so we could be together!)

As I was signing the forms upon our arrival, Jasper saw all the pictures of the dolphins in the office and was saying, "Shark! Shark!"  It was really cute but not to scare anyone off, I clarified for him that it was in fact dolphins that we were going to play with.  We were in a group with Josh and Ryley and their mommy Jenn this year (their daddy Ryan took our pictures, thanks!) and our dolphin's name was Cooper.  Though both boys did not want to touch Cooper, I think it was more the fear of falling into the water than the dolphin himself that prevented them.  Sam was happy to throw hoops and feed Cooper while Jasp was happy (and I think I am being a bit generous with that adjective) sitting by the water watching the action.

After the dolphin activity, the kids had just some more fun playing by a cannon and a statue of King Triton.  There was a cement ramp by the statue and of course Jasper just had to slide down on it because he was treating it like a slide.  All this burnt up energy was refueled with a delicious lunch of fish fingers and fries, yum!

I thought that Jasper would pass out as soon as I buckled him into his carseat but the goof got out of the top straps and literally hung out with his brother.  I just had to take some pictures of our Mr. Funny Guy, no laws about taking pictures while driving, right?  (I just happened to luck out and get a few good pics because I definitely was not looking backwards!)  Eventually he was tuckered out and had an awesome 3 hour nap!
