We had a nice couple of days after Christmas, eating leftovers and discovering our new gifts. The boys had lots of fun with their new police car from Auntie Tina and Uncle Esan and the stickers from Auntie Sarah and Uncle Tony. An unexpected gift of fun was the leftover water from the melted ice in the cooler. Jasp had a blast "cleaning" the sliding door when he found the cooler water, whatever floats your boat little man!
We bid farewell to Grandma and then had a lovely (and early!) New Year's celebration at the Dziwenkas this year. Jenn made a yummy "Albertan" dinner with two of my most favorite foods: pyrogies and cabbage rolls! I even got to bring some of her pyrogies home, thanks Jenn!
We got home and put Mr.Jasper in bed by 8 pm. We haven't had any overtired nightmare crying in a long time so it was best not to push him too much past his bedtime. Sammy went to bed not long afterwards and Mommy and Daddy just barely stayed up to watch two sets of fireworks from our balcony window. Happy New Year!!!
