Yay for Yee!

June-yee was going to come in May for a visit but she just got a new job so she squeezed in some time for us before her new job started.

The boys have not seen her since last July so it was really nice, especially for Jasp, to reconnect with her.  Jasper got so comfortable having June-yee around, he shortened her name to "Yee".  You could hear him calling "Yee! Yee! Yee!"  all the time.  It also didn't hurt that June-yee  rewarded the sign-making machines with some treats that included a Disney Cars racetrack!

We had a mix of warm and cool weather so we did a lot of indoor and outdoor activities.  At home, there was lots of playtime with the lego (and pushing Jasp on the Lego box!), the ipad, cleaning the balcony sliding door and even some cupcake making when our friends came over for dinner.  Outside the house, we went to the park, a reading session in Sam's class, a visit to the Aquarium with Auntie Tina and Erik and despite Jasper's protestations, even some shopping.  Though Jasper did not like the shopping very much, he got so used to it that one time at the Barn, he started rifling through the racks himself and pulled items up against himself to check for sizing.  Then he would put the clothing item back and say, "Too big" or "Niiiiice".

Since Sam is in school most times when our visitors leave and can't go to the airport, he unfortunately has to start the school day a bit sad saying farewell.  June-yee got some great good-bye hugs right before he went into his classroom.  Good luck with your new job June-yee!
