It was a rough night before the day of the photoshoot as Sam threw up not only once, but twice when he snuck into Mommy and Daddy's bed. Daddy wanted to cancel but Mommy felt bad for cancelling the last minute so we asked Sam if he wanted to go and (surprisingly!) he said he still wanted to go take pictures. I took some pictures of my handsome boys while we were waiting for the photographer to set up and though Daddy does not look pleased, I still think he looks great.
The pictures were taken at the Arboretum and the weather was just perfect, sunny with a bit of breeze. Just as we finished, the clouds rolled in and we had thundershowers the rest of the day and night. Luckily Grandma's plane got in before the major downpour.
Unfortunately, we are not going to be on the cover after all this. The photographer used the wrong format or something and what he took could not be used for the cover and we were not able to make it to the retake shoot. Guess the McCallums are not going to be famous afterall.
