Super Sam has many disguises so the bad guys can never really figure out who he is. And like many great heroes, a little trusty sidekick (and maybe an iPad) is all one needs to save the world.
We went to a classmate's superhero-themed birthday party at the beginning of October. It did not say to dress up for the party on the invite but when we got there, about 95% of the kids were dressed up in costumes. I felt horrible for Sammy, especially when a kid asked him why he was dressed as nothing. Luckily there was a cape decorating station and a face painter on hand. Sam has never had his face painted but inspired by his classmate J'yindae (who wanted to be green Batman), he decided that he wanted to be blue Batman. Sammy held onto Mommy's arm for dear life while he was getting his face painted but was overjoyed when he saw the results.
