There's been a lot more physical action between Jasper and Sam lately. Mostly it is Jasper making Sam cry but there have been a few instances where Sammy instigates the "fight". Jasper is definitely louder so you never know if it is a legitimate cry or not but when we ask Sammy what happened we don't get a clear answer either. One time, Sammy said, "I didn't bite him" (which made me look at Jasper's finger and find the bite marks) or "He bumped his head" (which probably means that he hit Jasper on the head). Sammy has not bitten anyone since he was a baby but Jasper did bite him a few days earlier so I know where he got the idea. Fortunately Sam is not a good liar. Jasper however is getting quite a temper. His arms automatically go out for a slap or hit when he doesn't get his way, not only towards Sam, but to Mommy and Daddy too. One time during Gung Gung's visit, he was so mad, he stretched out both arms straight in front of him, his hands made into fists and grunted really loud. It almost seemed like he was flexing his muscles.

With the fighting there comes love afterwards. When Sam does something to Jasper, he is ordered to say sorry and to give Jasper a kiss and vice versa. Though Jasper can't say sorry yet, he is quite generous with the kisses. He has been through the routine enough times that he even kisses Sam before I ask him too. Sam sometimes does not appreciate the slobbery kisses and is not satisfied if kissed in the wrong place (like if he was hit in the arm and Jasp kisses him on the head, the kiss must be on the arm!) but it soothes his "hurt" nonetheless.
Every night, before Jasper is brought up to his crib, Mommy speaks for Jasper and says, "Good night brother, I love you." Sammy always responds, "Good night Jasper, I love you too." Just melts Mommy's heart to hear this.
Another favorite of mine is whenever I give Jasper two of something to eat, he will automatically give one to Sam first. How thoughtful of my baby!
