My crazy-haired baby

Jasper is probably due for a haircut but Mommy just can't bear to let go of his blond curls yet.  The Bermuda humidity really brings out the curliness so sometimes it can end up looking like a messy bird's nest by then end of the day.  Not that I don't know this already but he nearly always gets a "what a beautiful baby" compliment everytime we go to the grocery store.  The curls sometimes leads strangers to think he is a girl which is a bit of a mystery because he is obviously wearing boy clothes, but oh well.  I have a feeling once we get it cut, his hair will become straight and dark so I will just try to keep Daddy and his scissors at bay for a little while longer.

Here is a picture of Sammy with his mullet-ish looking hair right before his first cut when he was 16 months old.  I remember back then that I was hesitant to get his haircut too because I didn't want him to lose his baby looks but was really glad after it was done.  Since day one, Sam has been very good at the hairdressers (minus the part where Ellen uses the buzzing clippers!) whereas Jasper I fear, will not be so good.  Another reason to hold off on the cut!
