Last week, when I picked up Sammy from school he had a crown with two antler-like things sticking out in front. I asked if he was a reindeer and he said, "No, I'm a goat." I asked why his classmate Neil was wearing a brown paper crown and he told me, "Neil was a troll." It then clicked for me that they acted out "The Three Billy Goats" at school and asked if this was so. Sam then explained, "The goats went trip trap trip trap on the bridge and the troll said who is tripping and trapping on my bridge, I am going to gobble you up." For a boy of few words (takes after Daddy for sure!), I thought this was an amazing story. Mommy is so easy to please sometimes. I took Mr.Billy Goat to town for a few errands after school and apparently shopping makes even a goat tired. Jasper of course had his turn with the horns when the opportunity came up later that evening.
